A successful test drive of using drones to deliver medicines in Uttarakhand was conducted on Thursday. The test was carried out between AIIMS Hospital in Rishikesh and the hilly region of Tehri in Garhwal, where a drone carried two kilograms of TB medicines covering a distance of 40 km in just 30 minutes. The use of drones to transport medicines is expected to revolutionize the healthcare industry in the region, particularly in hilly and hard-to-reach areas.
