Manuguru: The skyrocketing prices of LPG cylinders have been a concern for many households, and political parties have been making promises to address the issue in the upcoming elections. During a recent street meeting in Manuguru, TPCC president Revanth Reddy promised that if the Congress is voted to power, cooking gas will be made available at a significantly lower cost of Rs 500 per refill. He criticized the Modi government's "double-engine sarkar" for increasing the cost of commodities, including LPG, claiming that the price has gone up from Rs 400 to Rs 1,200 since the Congress was in power. Whether these promises will sway voters and impact the outcome of the elections remains to be seen.
