Hyderabad, the capital of the state of Telangana, is poised to become a hub for electric vehicles (EVs), according to Minister of Municipal Administration K Tarak Rama Rao. At the 'E-Motor Show 2023' event held at HITEX in Madhapur, the minister inaugurated stalls showcasing several EV companies and highlighted the state's industrial policy for EVs. He stated that this was just the beginning and the sector will continue to develop in the future. EV Battery and Amar Raja have already established their manufacturing units in the state, according to the minister. The minister's vision is to make Hyderabad a leader in the adoption and production of electric vehicles, creating job opportunities and contributing to the growth of the local economy.
