Telangana Budget 2023 : Finance Minister Harish Rao presents Budget with Rs 2,90,396 crore outlay
Hyderabad: Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao presented the Budget 2023-24 with a total outlay of Rs 2,90,396 crores in the state Assembly today. This marks the fourth time Minister Harish Rao has presented the budget in the house. The per capita income is recorded at Rs 3,17,215 with a capital expenditure of Rs 37,525 crores.
In his address to the Assembly, Minister Harish Rao highlighted the rapid development seen in all sectors in Telangana and expressed frustration with the hurdles created by the Centre. He criticized the Centre for cutting the loan limit to the state by Rs 15,000 crores and acting against the principles of federalism.
