Telangana Budget to balance development and welfare: FM Harish Rao
Hyderabad: Telangana State Finance Minister Harish Rao has stated that the upcoming budget will prioritize the aspirations of the people. Ahead of the budget presentation, the minister paid a visit to the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Hyderabad on Monday and performed special rituals.
In a media interaction, Minister Harish Rao emphasized that the budget will balance both development and welfare, and that even if the center does not offer support, Telangana will continue to work towards development goals.
The minister added that the Telangana budget will set a positive example for the rest of the country. Harish Rao also emphasized that the government views the welfare and development of the poor as important partners and that the budget will allocate resources accordingly. The budget, according to the minister, will align with the promises made by Chief Minister KCR to the people.
