Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday visited Maharashtra, where he was given a warm welcome by Sikh religious leaders. During his visit, he offered special prayers at a historic gurdwara and paid tributes to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji near the airport. KCR was accompanied by MLC Kavitha and several other politicians, including MPs, ministers, and MLAs. The trip to Maharashtra marked the first visit by KCR after the formation of the BRS party, and the local leaders went to great lengths to ensure its success. The main purpose of the visit was for KCR to address a public meeting of the BRS party in Nanded. Reports suggest that several key leaders from Maharashtra will join the BRS in the presence of KCR, making the event a significant one for the party.
