An unidentified couple left their baby at the check-in counter of Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, as they attempted to board a Ryanair flight to Brussels, Belgium without a ticket for the child. The couple, traveling on Belgian passports, found that they had to pay extra for the baby's ticket and, in their rush to reach the boarding gate before the flight closed, left the child behind. The check-in agent alerted airport security, who retrieved the passengers and prevented them from boarding the flight. The incident has gone viral.
