Suzuki Motor Corporation has announced a plan to generate biogas from cow dung for use in its CNG vehicles in India. The initiative is part of the company's growth strategy for FY30 with the aim of reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The biogas will be produced from dairy waste primarily found in rural areas of India. The Suzuki Innovation Center is also reportedly investigating new opportunities and innovations to further establish the company in India. To bolster its manufacturing capabilities, Suzuki will collaborate with startups, its Suppliers Association, and universities in Japan and India.
