Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao announced that the youngest state in India has successfully completed the world's largest lift irrigation project within four years. Speaking at an ITC unit launching event, Minister KTR asked Hemanth Malik, Divisional Chief Executive of ITC's Foods Business, and others to verify the information on Google if they do not believe his words.

The Minister emphasized that Telangana is leading the water resources revolution in India, adding that the state is the first to complete a drinking water project under Mission Bhagirat aimed at providing clean drinking water to every household in the state. He also highlighted that 46,000 lakes and tanks in Telangana have been rejuvenated under Mission Kakatiya.
