KTR heartfelt condolences over the death of Amshala Swamy, face of Nalgonda fluorosis

Amshala Swamy, a prominent figure in the Nalgonda fluorosis crisis, passed away at his home in Shivannagudem on Saturday morning. He was 32. Swamy was a part of multiple delegations of fluorosis victims who met with various chief ministers to seek solutions for the issue.

Recently, Swamy received attention when the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, K T Rama Rao, provided funds for his two-bedroom house and salon. He also had lunch with KTR during the minister's visit to Munugode for by-elections in November 2021.

KTR offered his condolences on Twitter, stating that Swamy was a fighter for the cause of fluorosis victims, an inspiration to many, and will always hold a special place in his heart. May his soul rest in peace.
