Odisha Ex CM Giridhar Gamang joins BRS party in presence of CM KCR
Hyderabad: In a major political development, former Odisha Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang and his son, Shishir, joined the Bharat Rasthra Samithi (BRS) party on Friday at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. The event was attended by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao, as well as other political leaders and individuals from various fields.
The Gamang father-son duo had previously been members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but announced on Wednesday that they would be leaving the party to join BRS. The move was met with praise from BRS, who stated that the addition of like-minded individuals will help expand the party's support base in the state of Telangana.
