Hyderabad: To mark the 74th Republic Day, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao unfurled the national flag at his official residence Pragati Bhavan. Despite skipping the official event at Raj Bhavan, the chief minister paid his respects and honoured the contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by garlanding their portraits and laying floral tributes. Alongside other ministers, MLCs, and public representatives, KCR also visited the Army War Memorial in Secunderabad to pay tribute to fallen soldiers and remember their sacrifices. He extended his greetings to the people of Telangana and the country on this special day, and reminded them of the significance of January 26 as the day when India first became a sovereign republic.
