The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued fresh summons to Kadapa Member of Parliament (MP) of YSRCP, YS Avinash Reddy, in connection with the murder case of his paternal uncle and former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy. The MP has been asked by the CBI to appear for questioning on January 28th at its Hyderabad office. On Monday, the CBI served the first notice to the MP, asking him to appear at its office on Tuesday. However, Avinash Reddy cited prior engagements and requested a five-day extension to appear before the CBI. In response, the CBI served a second notice on Wednesday, summoning the MP for his presence at its Hyderabad office on January 28th. The investigation into the murder of Vivekananda Reddy is still ongoing and the CBI continues to gather evidence and question potential witnesses in connection to the case.
