Amaravati: Actor-turned-politician, Janasena leader Nagababu received a notice from the Anantapur district police denying permission for a planned Shramadaan program that he was set to participate in. In the letter, the police asked Nagababu to postpone his tour. Janasena had called for the Shramadaan program which aims to fix the potholes on roads across the state, and Nagababu was scheduled to participate in the program in the Anantapur district on Sunday. However, the authorities repaired the roads in Cheruvukatta overnight and the police denied permission for the program. Nagababu, however, stated that he will not cancel the tour and will attend the program as planned, saying "he will definitely visit the roads". This led to a tense situation in Anantapur with a heavy police force deployed in the area where Nagababu's program was to be held.
