Ready to tender resignation: BJP Chief Bandi Sanjay
Hyderabad: Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Bandi Sanjay has strongly criticized the state's Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, challenging him to prove that electricity is being provided 24 hours a day as he had promised. Bandi Sanjay has also stated that he is ready to resign from his position if the Chief Minister proves that electricity is being provided 24 hours a day as promised.
Bandi Sanjay accused the Chief Minister of increasing electricity charges in the state and questioned how he could provide free electricity in the state without clearing pending dues to the DISCOMs, which are currently facing losses of over Rs 50,000 crores.
In a recent statement, Sanjay also took issue with KCR's comments on the Agnipath scheme, claiming that it was the brainchild of the late Bipin Rawat.
