Eight dead, Four injured in shooting at Florida of US
Eight individuals were shot dead and four others were injured on Monday at a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event, according to Florida police. According to the sheriff's office, more than 1,000 people attended the MLK Car Show and Family Fun Day at Ilous Ellis Park at 5:20 p.m. (US time), local media reported.
Although it was unclear whether anyone was in jail or if a suspect or suspects had been identified, Chief Deputy Brian Hester of the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office stated that authorities are pursuing numerous leads and community tips. Hester claimed that the evidence suggested there may have been other shooters.
