Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, leading the Bharat Jodo Yatra, has been seen wearing a turban as the foot march passed through Punjab. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has shared a video claiming that the Rahul Gandhi had refused to wear a turban and termed his stint a 'drama'. Congress hit back at the saffron camp as Rashid Alvi said, "BJP must be concerned with the nation & not what Rahul Gandhi does." Earlier, BJP's Amit Malviya tweeted a video of Rahul Gandhi choosing the colour of the turban. "Everything is choreographed in Bharat Jodo Yatra including who should be called in to tie the turban and its colour. What is offensive though is Rahul Gandhi refusing to wear the turban when there were no cameras…Exploiting religious sentiments for politics is in Congress’s DNA," he tweeted.
