V.V. Lakshminarayana, a former joint director of the CBI, has announced that he will contest for the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat again in the 2024 elections. The former IPS officer responded to a question by saying that at the proper time, he would make a decision about joining a political party, forming a new party, or running as an independent candidate. After taking part in the American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA) Scholarship Distribution event held in the Guntur district, Lakshminarayana made these remarks. He has expressed his happiness at taking part in the APTA programme to support deserving students who are in financial difficulty in continuing their education.
