Charles Sobhraj, a French serial murderer who committed a series of killings in Asia in the 1970s, was recently returned to France after being released from a prison in Nepal. According to reports, the top court decided that he should be released on medical grounds because keeping him behind bars would violate his human rights. According to a PTI report, Sobhraj took a Qatar Airways aircraft QR647 to Doha, where he was scheduled to connect to a trip to Paris. According to some estimations, he killed close to 20 individuals, according to Firstpost.
