President Draupadi Murmu was welcomed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, popularly known as KCR, when she arrived at the Hakimpet air base on Monday evening for her five-day trip to the south. Upon the President's arrival, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also extended a warm greeting. When the CM and the Governor, who have been at differences over an array of subjects, appeared together for the first time in a long time, political observers notice the developments. The official presidential retreat, Rashtrapati Nilayam, is located in Bolaram in the Secunderabad cantonment, where the President will spend the night.
