On Monday, a Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader from Telangana was found dead in strange circumstances in the Siddipet district. Mallesham, a Cheriyal resident and member of the Zilla Parishad Territorial Committee (ZPTC), had gone for a morning stroll. Later, he was found severely injured close to Gurijakunta village. Villagers took him to a neighbouring hospital, but he passed away there before being transferred to Hyderabad. Family members of Mallesham claimed that he had left the house early in the morning to go for a walk. A few hours later, they learned that he had been discovered injured and lying on Cherial Road. In addition to having significant head injuries, he was also unconscious. The locals' attempts to save him were ineffective because he passed away the route to Hyderabad. The wife of Mallesham is among the family members who have demanded justice and called for the execution of the offenders.
