Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao skipped welcoming President Droupadi Murmu after she reached Hyderabad today as a part of her southern sojourn. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and State Minister for Tribal Welfare, Women and Child Welfare Satyavathi Rathod welcomed the President on behalf of the state government. Later, as per schedule, President Droupadi left for Srisailam in a helicopter from Hyderabad and Union Minister Kishan Reddy accompanied her. Now, CM KCR skipping welcoming the President triggered a political debate in the state. On the other hand, a heavy force was deployed in Srisailam ahead of the President's visit.
