Bridge collapsed before inauguration in Bihar
Bihar: In a shocking incident, a portion of the bridge constructed with a cost of Rs 13 crore collapsed before its inauguration. The incident took place in Begusarai district, Bihar. According to the sources, the bridge was constructed across river Budhi Gandak between Aaakriti Tola Chowki and Bishanpur under Chief Minister NABARD scheme in 2017.
It is said that the bridge was not inaugurated due to a lack of connecting roads to the bridge. On Sunday, a portion of the bridge was collapsed and fell into the river. No casualties were reported in the incident.
