Congressman Shashi Tharoor revealed on Friday that the previous day in the Delhi Parliament building, he had injured his left foot after missing a step. The Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, MP said he had to miss today's session and would have to postpone plans for the weekend in his district while he recovered. 66-year-old Tharoor posted pictures of himself in bed wearing a cast on his left ankle and appearing dejected. He wrote: "A minor inconvenience: Yesterday, after missing a step in Parliament, I severely sprained my left foot. I had to go to the hospital since the pain had gotten so bad after I ignored it for a few hours."
