On social media, a video of students dancing at a Mangaluru engineering college quickly gained popularity. At a college event, the students were observed dancing while donning burqas to a Bollywood song. This caused a rift since they were accused of offending religious sensitivities. The pupils broke "strict guidelines," according to college administrators who claimed they were ignorant of the performance and suspended all four students. According to a tweet from the college, "the video clip going around social media has captured a section of the dance by students of the Muslim community themselves who barged on stage during the informal part of students association inaugural."
