According to the final results released by the Indian Election Commission, Congress won the Himachal Pradesh assembly election by securing 40 seats (ECI). In the end, the BJP won 25 seats, compared to the AAP's five victories. With 43.90% of the vote to the BJP's 42.99% in Himachal, the Congress is just slightly ahead of the BJP in terms of vote share. In the hill state, others have received 10.4% of the vote. Mallikarjun Kharge, the party president, claimed that Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra had aided the party's success in the hill state as it prepared to take power in Himachal Pradesh.
