The mother of YSRTP President YS Sharmila, YS Vijayamma, lost her cool when the police forbade her from seeing her daughter after she had been arrested and taken to SR Nagar Police Station. YS Vijayamma stated that she desired to see and speak with her daughter. She spat fire at the police officers, challenging their attitude and claiming that she was used to seeing how the government and the police system worked. If she is blocked, Vijayamma threatened to mobilise her supporters to stage a demonstration across the state. She protested with the police officers and asked that they accompany during her meeting with daughter.
