Hyderabad: Tension escalated after the police arrested YSRTP chief YS Sharmila at Samojiguda in Hyderabad while she was trying to siege Pragathi Bhavan. YS Sharmila lashed out at the TRS government after her arrest. Speaking to the media, YS Sharmila said that the TRS government intentionally is creating a law and order situation in the state and arrested her. Sharmila alleged that the TRS government is trying to arrest her after they are unable to digest the overwhelming response from the people. She said that YSRTP is the only party in the state fighting against the TRS government. She abbreviated BRS as Bandipotla Rashtra Samithi.
