YS Sharmila protests in the middle of the road while seated in a car; tension at Somajiguda

In Punjagutta-Somajiguda area, the protest was launched by YSRTP President YS Sharmila in the middle of the street. She started her protest while seated in the middle of the car. The same car that the TRS activists are said to have damaged yesterday was observed being driven by her. The state government and the police have been criticised by YS Sharmila for failing to take any action against those responsible for torching the YSRTP's caravan, shattering the windows of some cars, and injuring YSRTP members, including her in the name of the arrest.

YS Sharmila was travelling from Somajiguda to Pragathi Nagar to raise her voice against the incident. But at the points of Somajiguda and Punjagutta, she came to a standstill. YS Sharmila hasn't even unlocked the car's window screens.

The police are making every effort to evict the demonstrators, including Sharmila, from that area because the protest scene has caused a traffic bottleneck.
