* The Supreme Court suspends the High Court's directive to designate Amravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh within six months.
* The Andhra Pradesh High Court's March 3 judgement requiring the state government to develop Amaravati as the capital city within six months was stayed by the Supreme Court on Monday till January 31, 2023.
* Farmers in Amaravati expressed their satisfaction with the SC's rulings. The suggested three capitals will continue to move forward, according to AP Ministers.
