50 TRS members have been charged with vandalising BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri's home in Hyderabad on Friday due to his alleged insults of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter K Kavitha. Police were called after KCR party members broke into the Nizamabad MP's home and burned an effigy of the BJP politician while holding TRS flags and scarves. M Sudarshan, the ACP for Banjara Hills, claims that a case has been filed against 50 people. They have not yet been located and detained. Arvind Dharmapuri allegedly made some derogatory remarks against the CM's family during a press conference in response to claims in a certain media outlet that the BJP attempted to entice Kavitha into its fold. Kavitha, who was defeated by Arvind in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, claimed earlier in the day that BJP acquaintances had approached her with a "offer" to join the party. She also criticised Arvind during a press appearance, denying his alleged claims
