In June 2014, K Chandra Sekhar Rao, better known by his brand as KCR, helped Telangana gain statehood and become its first chief minister. Along with the several construction projects, CM KCR instituted a number of social programmes and helped Telangana become a surplus power state by supplying all of the state's sectors with power twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to this, the Telangana CM has continually worked for the state's citizens and hoped for the overall growth of the country. A song on CM KCR was recently released, and it emphasised his political stance and desire to see the state prosper.
