Visakhapatnam: Court rejected the remand petition of Telugu Desam Party senior leader and former minister Ayyanna Patrudu on allegedly submitting forgery documents in a wall demolition case. According to the reports, the CID officials produced the TDP leader before the Visakhapatnam Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court. After hearings, the judge rejected the remand petition of police to send Ayyanna Patrudu to judicial custody. The court stated that section 467 of IPC doesn't apply to the case and further directed the police to issue a notice under 41A Crpc. It is known that the CID police arrested Ayyanna Patrudu and his son at their residence in Narsipatnam.
