Narsipatnam: CID police arrested former Minister and Telugu Desam Party senior leader Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu and his son in the early hours of Thursday at his residence in Narsipatnam. According to the sources, CID officials issued a notice to Ayyanna Patrudu under section 50A and took him and his son Rajesh into custody. His wife alleged that harassments increased after YSRCP came into power. A non-bailable case under various sections was registered against Ayyanna Patrudu for allegedly submitting forgery documents related to the demolition of the compound wall of his house. He will be produced before a court in Eluru soon.
