Karate Kalyani and some other Hindu organisations filed a lawsuit after objecting to the song's use of devotional chanting, claiming it had hurt the community's sentiments. They sought an unconditional apology from Devi Sri Prasad in addition to taking legal action against him for hurting their feelings.
