Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel got whipped on the wrist during Gaura Gauri worship as a part of a folk tradition. According to the reports, CM Bhupesh Baghel participated in the Godavardhanagiri pooja at Jajangiri village in the Durg district on Tuesday. As a part of the tradition, CM Bhupesh Baghel got whipped on the wrist and it is believed that it will bring good luck and avert evil. The video went viral on social media after CM Bhupesh Baghel shared the video on his Twitter handle and is creating a buzz. It is learnt that CM every year visit the village and takes part in the ritual to pray for the well-being of the state.
