Kaghaznagar: The bridge across the Peddavagu stream near Andavell village in Kaghaznagar Mandal collapsed on Wednesday. It is known that a pillar of the bridge tilted and partially sunk due to heavy rains in July and the alerted police restricted the traffic on the bridge. As per the sources, a major portion of the bridge including two pillars and three slabs collapsed around 2 AM on Wednesday. No casualties were reported as the police already suspended the traffic by erecting walls on both ends of the bridge. The transportation to 52 villages of Kaghaznagar and Dahegam Mandals was halted.
