Rameswaram: In a miraculous incident, passengers narrowly escaped from a major mishap after two buses collided with each other on Pamban bridge in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday morning. According to the reports, a private bus travelling from Chennai to Rameswaram tried to overtake a vehicle on Pamban Bridge and lost its control and rammed into a government bus. The driver of the private bus lost control of the vehicle and hit a protective wall of the bridge. The passengers miraculously escaped from falling into the sea. The alerted people on the bridge evacuated the passengers from the bus and saved the driver who got stuck in the cabin. It is learnt that six passengers were injured severely in the accident. Police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
