BJP clarifies on 3 cases against Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, a Munugode By-election candidate

The BJP high command on Saturday formally announced Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy as the party's candidate for the Munugode by-election. Three cases that were brought against him have also been cleared by the BJP. It said that Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy was chosen for the by-elections because of his good reputation in the Munugode constituency. Three cases against him were dismissed by the party on the grounds that they were brought by the state administration as a form of political retaliation.

Rajagopal's resignation forced a by-election for Munugode. The Munugode by-election will take place on November 3, and the results will be out on November 6.
