Hyderabad: A video of a man's cricket commentary in Sanskrit for a gully cricket is going viral on the internet and also received praises from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the viral clip, a man gave commentary in fluent Sanskrit when a group of teenagers are playing cricket in a gully and a few people are watching the game. His fluency in Sanskrit is making everyone praise his efforts to save the language and many netizens commented that they are now eager to learn Sanskrit after watching the video. PM Modi also retweeted the video and wrote as "This is heartening to see…Congrats to those undertaking this effort. During one of the #MannKiBaat programmes last year I had shared a similar effort in Kashi. Sharing that as well."
