A bullet fired from the ground recently injured a passenger of a jet as it struck him in midair. When he was hit on Friday morning, the man was a passenger on a Myanmar National Airlines flight that was ready to land in Loikaw, Myanmar. The source said that an ATR-72 plane carrying 63 people was shot at a height of more than 3,500 feet. The individual on board sustained a facial injury on his right side. Myanmar military government has held rebels responsible for the alleged attack. The man was a 27-year-old who was travelling from Naypitaw to Loikaw, according to the authorities. Upon landing, he was taken right away to the hospital.
