According to Telangana BJP leader Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, the state's government is experiencing an economic crisis. Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, who would contest in the Munugode by-elections on the BJP ticket, expressed confidence that if the BJP prevailed in this election, the TRS-led CM KCR would lose his ability to lead the state going forward. Raj Gopal Reddy advised the residents of his constituency not to anticipate TRS retaining power through December 2023. The incumbent MLA of the Congress party, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, resigned and afterwards joined the BJP, which led to the by-election.
