The Telangana chief minister stated in remarks at the Prathima Medical College's opening ceremony in Warangal on Saturday that the per capita of the state is more than that of Mumbai, the financial capital of the state. He said Telangana state has achieved unique distinction in the health sector and expressed confidence that it will shine even more in the coming days. He claimed that earlier, Telangana was ignored. According to the Chief Minister, the state government was able to raise the number of medical colleges from five to seventeen. People in the state are thrilled because CM KCR expressed confidence that the ambition of establishing 33 medical institutions in each district will come true in the near future. He claimed that this initiative has already been taken by Health Minister Harish Rao.
