The new and improved Vande Bharat Express, which will travel from Gandhinagar to Mumbai, was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi travelled by train from Gandhinagar to Kalupur station in Ahmedabad at the launch event. He spoke with passengers on the train who came from various backgrounds, such as railroad employees, female business owners, and children. The recently introduced Vande Bharat Express train boasts of an aircraft-like travelling experience and cutting edge, modern safety measures, including the innovative Kavach technology—a train collision avoidance system that was created domestically.
