Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) extended Bathukamma festival greetings to the Telangana people as the festival is going to commence from today. CM KCR said that the state government is distributing sarees to women across the state as Bathukamma Kanuka at a cost of Rs 350 crore and distributing one crore sarees. He further added that the Bathukamma festival become a part of Telangana people and now spreading to other countries, promoting the great culture of Telangana. CM KCR said that the state government made all arrangements for the festival and prayed the Goddess to bless the people with happiness and prosperity.
