Delhi Liquor scam: ED raids in Hyderabad

The Delhi Liquor Scam has tarnished the reputations of some powerful politicians and businessmen. The Enforcement Directorate has started its inquiry and accelerated the investigation in some states. Recently, Hyderabad has been the target. Certain IT firms in Hyderabad as well as some builders in the Karimnagar district have been searched by the investigating authorities. The ED has also accelerated its investigation into several of the real estate businesses' offices. A travel agency is currently being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate.

The ED reportedly accelerated the investigation after questioning with liquor industry businessman Arun Ramachandran Pillai, who is headquartered in Hyderabad. In response to the information, the ED and other corporate offices connected to him searched the home of V Srinivasa Rao, a resident of Banjara Hills, Road Number 12, Hyderabad.
