A female student from Mohali was detained by the Chandigarh Police on Sunday for reportedly releasing inappropriate videos of other students at a private university in the region. The girl who allegedly taped footage of other girls getting ready for bath has reportedly admitted her guilt and described what happened. Chandigarh University students were urged to maintain their composure by Punjab School Education Minister HS Bains, who also reassured them that the guilty would not get off easy. Late on Saturday night, many students gathered on the university campus to demonstrate against the event. According to the report, one affected pupil collapsed and taken to the hospital.
