Karnataka: A video of an elephant chasing its caretaker (mahout) is going viral on social media. The incident took place in Gajanur, Shimoga, Karnataka. According to the sources, the elephant name Manikanta belongs to Sakrebailu Elephant Camp tried to attack his caretaker Khaleel while crossing the road on Friday. The incident took place when the mahout was taking the elephant to the forest for grazing. One of his caretakers stopped his bike when he saw the elephant and ran away from it. He and a woman in the car escaped unhurt.
