Tamilisai Soundararajan, the governor of Telangana, claimed on Thursday that the K Chandrasekhar Rao administration in the state had humiliated her office by preventing her from raising the flag on Republic Day. She claimed that by treating a female governor unfairly, the southern state made history. The state will go down in history as being the first to discriminate against a female governor, she added. 'On Republic Day, I was excluded from both the governor's speech and the flag-raising ceremony. Even now, protocol is not followed wherever I go. It is important to respect the governor's office,' she said. So far K Chandra Sekhar Rao(KCR) led TRS has not reacted to the allegations made by Governor Tamilisai.
