A drone video of the recently renovated Central Vista has been made public. Soon, the renovated "Kartavya Path" will be accessible to the general public. On September 7, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) called a special meeting with the goal of renaming the historic location. On September 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the renovated Rajpath and Centre Vista lawns in the heart of Delhi, which run from the Rashtrapati Bhavan to the India Gate. The Central Government has decided to sever colonial ties and rename the Rajpath (Kingsway) as 'Kartavya Path' in advance of the inauguration. According to government sources, the entire route from the Netaji statue at India Gate to the Rashtrapati Bhavan would be referred to as 'Kartavya Path.'
